Full Moon 🌕 Healing Circle
Time & Location
About the Event
We are happy to announce a four part series that will accompany our New Moon Councils, every Full Moon, as a discussion series. We would like to offer the practice of habit, in observing the phases of the Moon in sisterhood and community to participate in ritual and teachings. Council aims to provide and nourish, safe spaces of reflection and practice within the building of community.
Co-facilitated by Georgia Collins for a discussion on women’s spirituality, reflections of the Wild Woman in nature, and activism in decolonizing traditional ways of healing.
Coming out of Eclipse season, this full moon is in Capricorn, a hard-working sign that asks us to be honest with ourselves about our unique capabilities and strengths. How do we encourage ourselves to bring our truth wherever we go? What does the process of blooming involve?
The intentional shadow work and shedding work we’ve done over the last Winter and Spring has cleared space for us to enjoy the blossoming energies of ripeness and abundance of this Strawberry Moon, named so by Algonquin, Ojibwe, Dakota, and Lakota peoples among others, for the ripening of the strawberries that occurs around this time. Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, falls on June 20th this year. Join us on the 24th as we reflect on the challenges of this past year, celebrate our hard work, and continue to clarify what we want to focus on manifesting in our own lives and the lives of our communities. As society begins to ‘re-open’, a loving space to reflect and ground can help us shift gears with integrity; staying true to all the lessons we have gained over the past 15 months.
We invite you to an evening of grounding meditation and reflective writing in a supportive space anchored in Ancestral Healing practices.
